Since earning a degree in nursing, Carly Marston has worked on a Respiratory and Diabetic hospital unit and in Family Practice. Her interests include pediatrics, women's health, and health promotion. While tending to the girls' individual health needs, she enjoys teaching health promotion and prevention with an emphasis on wellness.

She lives off campus with her husband, Philip, and beagle, "Lil".
