The second oldest of seven children Mrs. Maggini was born in Belgium and at the age of nine moved to the French frontier with her family.

Experienced, with over 16 years of classroom, including work with talented students, disabled children, and the elderly in school and home settings. She has received the Illinois Governor’s Award for Distinction in the Teaching of French in 1988, and Certificat d’Honneur of Association Américaine des Professeurs de Français in 1997.

She lives on campus in the McCuan House.
