Ms. Song concentrated her study on political science and economics during her undergraduate years. Because of her desire and interests in American government, history, and economy, she decided to transfer to Georgetown University in Washington DC after two years in a community college in Illinois. She rowed during her first year at Georgetown and appreciated being on the Potomac River every morning with her devoted teammates. She also loved playing the piano as a worship pianist at her Korean church in suburban Chicago.
Ms. Song was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Chicago with her family at the age of 16. She teaches Pre-Calculus and Algebra III and lives on campus.
