The St. Margaret's School Parent Council is committed to the ongoing success of all SMS programs, and strongly believes that this success is tied directly to the needs of the faculty and staff, in and out of the classroom, in the dorm, and on the athletic field. The Parent Council consists of 10-12 SMS families who are committed to volunteering, fundraising and enhancing the St. Margaret's experience for every student. Throughout the year, the Parent Council hosts various social and fundraising events to engage the St. Margaret's community. Funds raised through these events (Silent Auction, Rubber Duck Derby) and programs (Exam Care Packages, Merchandise) are used to fulfill requests from the faculty and staff of St. Margaret’s. In past years, the Parent Council has purchased books for the library, interactive teaching tools for the classroom, an all-school trip to see a performance by a Shakespeare Theatre Company, a scoreboard for the hockey, soccer and softball fields, uniforms for the crew team, and much more!
