Leadership
St. Margaret's Leadership Program allows our students to understand and perform service for the school community. Whether it is on the athletic field, a school publication, in a class meeting, in the dormitory, at a Blue/Grey event or in the classroom, every St. Margaret's student can obtain a variety of leadership experiences. Leaders are visible throughout the school life and allow St. Margaret’s to become a more cohesive community. St. Margaret’s believes that any student can make a positive impact on the school and on other individuals in the school community.
Through different leadership opportunities, students can:
- Develop self-confidence and competence
- Manage their time, energy, and efforts in order to live balanced lives
- Learn to work collaboratively with both peers and adults
- Recognize and assume accountability for their actions and decisions
- Communicate and interact effectively
- Think creatively and critically
- Consider and understand multiple perspectives
- Embrace the responsibilities associated with becoming an ethical leader
