Relationships are a priority for Renny Hall Poole '71, a full-time mom and community volunteer who lives in Richmond.
Many worthy causes compete for her attention and financial support. But for the last 20 years, she's always found time in her busy life to participate in the SMS Annual Fund because she values the enduring friendships she made as a five-year boarding student.
"My experience was very positive," she said. "My lifelong friends are the friends I made at
St. Margaret's."
Mrs. Poole recently increased her gift amount after coming back to campus, reconnecting and realizing how much the school continues to affect her as a grown woman.
"I was very much influenced by Miss Woolfolk, who was such a strong leader and role model," she said. "St. Margaret's also cemented my spiritual foundations; the Episcopal church and its traditions have been a major part of my life. And, of course, my most wonderful relationships are from
St. Margaret's."
