Fall Family Weekend is one of the most well loved annual traditions at St. Margaret's. "We've planned the weekend so parents can experience the many facets of life at St. Margaret's," said Assistant Head for School Life Cathy Sgroi. For example, Friday afternoon's mini-classes, teacher and advisor conferences, and parent meetings will give you up-to-the-minute information about your daughter's life at SMS.

We've also arranged the schedule so parents can spend quality time with their daughters, both on and off campus. Families can enjoy shopping at the Alumnae Association's crafts festival and cheering for the field hockey team on Friday afternoon. Everyone is invited to the seafood buffet dinner and all-school meeting on Friday evening. Many families traditionally participate in Saturday morning's River Run/Walk. And once Blue/Grey games end on Saturday, boarders may leave campus with their families until 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

There's always something new and exciting at Fall Family Weekend, too, and this year we are delighted to hold the much-anticipated dedication of our new athletic fields on Friday, October 12 at 3:30 p.m.

The deadline to R.S.V.P. for Fall Family Weekend events is Monday, October 8. If you plan to take your boarding daughter off-campus, weekend permission forms are due to the School Life Office by Monday, October 1.
