Monday Evenings Build Community

Monday night on the St. Margaret's campus is a time of fun, fellowship, and friendship building thanks to Residential Mondays.

"Whether we're making a dish from around the world, scrapbooking, or discussing how to get along with a roommate, this time is designed to build the St. Margaret's community through a variety of avenues," said Dean of Residential Life Natasha Kollaros '93.

The Monday evening meetings were created in response to student suggestions several years ago. They have four rotating themes that enable students to connect with adults and other students with whom they may not interact regularly. Themes include:

Hobby Monday: when students pursue a specific hobby interest

Active Monday: dedicated to a fitness or physical activity

Community Monday: allows students to discuss topics affecting the community or simply share a meal

Free Monday: provides much-needed down time
