Head of School Margaret R. Broad is pleased to announce the names of students who have earned a place on the St. Margaret’s School honor, merit and B rolls for the first trimester of the 2005-2006 academic year.

Students named to the honor roll have an average of 90 or above with no grade below a B. Local students include senior Sydney Harris of Tappahannock, junior Ligon Brooks of Miller’s Tavern, and freshmen Corbin Brooks of Miller’s Tavern, Kelsey Harris of Tappahannock and Anna-Beth Lawler of Sandy Point.

Other students named to the honor roll include juniors Saori Kaneko, Tetyana McCain and Mariam Smith-Pliego; sophomores Kristen Clayton-White, Hailey Jung, Ji-Ye Kim and Heather Lin; and freshmen Seh-Young Kim, Casey Sweren and Jessica Wu.

Students earning merit roll recognition have an average of 87 or above with no grade below a C. Local students include seniors Erin Martin of Callao and Allison Ryan of Tappahannock; juniors Michelle Burch of Burgess and Chelsea Jacobs of Dunnsville; sophomore Stephanie Hanson of Gloucester; and freshmen Christina Beckham of Montross, Meghan Cooke of Tappahannock, Ryan Martin of Tappahannock and Taylor Spotswood of Hudgins.

Other students earning merit roll recognition include seniors Laura Hubbell, Virginia Jiao, Kayce Kutch, Ashley Leake, Abbey Potter, Kris Price, Emily Reynolds, Hope Scott, Kate Sednew and Brooke Shafer; juniors Mary Beth DeLoache, Hannah McKee and Aubrey Sozer; sophomores Katherine Burnett, Young-Eun Lee, Rose Patrick and Gabi Price; freshmen Caroline Casey, Lizzy Cordes and Min Jin Kim; and eighth-grader Yun Hwa Chang.

Additionally, students earning a trimester average in the B range with no term or trimester grade below a C were named to the B List.
