October 2020 | Staying Connected

Dear St. Margaret's School Alumnae,

It is our hope that this email finds you in good health and happiness. Your commitment to St. Margaret's School is truly appreciated! Thank you for your sisterhood.
Our Alumnae Association Steering Committee is working hard to plan for virtual opportunities to connect as a sisterhood in the coming months. Please mark your calendars for our upcoming virtual events:
  • St. Margaret's Day of Giving: Monday, November 16
  • Alumnae Association Annual Meeting: Saturday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. ET
  • Young Alumnae Day: Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. ET
More information will be shared soon for these events, and others.
On Wednesday, we hosted New York Times bestselling author Samira Ahmed for our Golden Thistle Virtual Author Talk. Her book Internment was the all-school summer read for students and faculty. She spoke to our Golden Thistles, Board of Governors, students, and faculty about her journey toward becoming a writer, offered advice about writing and reaching goals, and she answered questions from our students and alumnae.
You will be receiving your copy of Thistle: 2019-2020 Philanthropy Report and Year in Reviewin the mail soon! You can download a copy here.
We hope you will join us for our Annual Meeting happening virtually this November! Please know we are here for you should you have any questions. From all of us at St. Margaret's School, thank you for your commitment to our sisterhood.
Go Scotties!
